Hi fellas
it has been quite long that I haven't uploaded anything.
this work is finished just a few hours ago. It's been made in 3Ds max 9 and textured in Photoshop with a touch of Bodypaint 3D; rendered with Vray and post processed a bit in Photoshop.
critiques are most welcomed.

A Pensive Moment

This is a 3D version of Eugene Blaas’s famous artwork, "A pensive moment" that I have done for Balestic Publishing's "d'artiste Character Modeling 2". The main job was done in 3Ds max 8. Rendering has been done in several passes using the default max scanline. Besides following the details of the painting as much as possible, it has been tried for the 3D work to look like a painting. For achieving this purpose, a lot of touching has been done on the image in Photoshop CS2. The texture of the wall is grabbed from an image of the painting with a camera mapping trick; but almost all of the textures are made in Zbrush 2. I know it does not resemble the painting 100 percent, so any kind of critics are most welcomed.
Hope you enjoy it!

It's about a mysterious mushroom civilization in deep deep forests of nowhereland which is called "Fngerland". Masto-Katra, the old wizard of Fungerland is reviewing his old memories of his youth, Fungerland has changed a lot since then...

this was another assignment for Visual Effects course. we were supposed to make a civilization base on a given photo. and I made this in 3Ds Max 9 and rendered with Vray in several layers.

Stationary Cat

Hello
this is my newset work that I've just finished right now. it is our first work for CG course and I have to submit it in the next monday. we have to make a face (human or animal face) with starionaries such as pencils, pens ...
it is completely done in photoshop 7. I made this cat with lots of pencils (over 11,000 for the hair !! oh my god ! my wrist hurts !!), 4 shapeners (for eyesand peoples), some pens (for eyebrows and mustaches), and an eraser (for the nose). I added the highlights and shadows after making the hair. the hair was very time consuming and exhausting. but I did it at last.
sorry, the pencils are a little aliased, but I could not do anything about them. I had to show that it is made of stationaries.
comments and critiques are pleased
